Rise in Parking Rates at EWR

New rates are in effect at Newark International Airport (EWR) as of September 16, 2022.

New parking rates have taken effect at Newark Liberty International Airport with discounts being offered for pre-booking parking at least 24 hours in advance.

“With the return of many travelers flying and more of those customers driving private vehicles to the airport, demand for airport parking has been high,” The Port Authority said in a news release, “We continue to encourage air travelers to pre-book parking spaces if they plan to travel to the airport by private car.”

The Port Authority is encouraging people to alternate means of transportation to the airport, “including public transit, taxis and ride-share services.”

Increases to parking rates have also taken place at other area airports including LaGuardia and JFK.
