Frontier Airlines is coming to Newark Airport (EWR)
Newark Airport is welcoming Frontier Airlines to its roster with budget flights starting as low as $15. They’re expected to be ready to fly by mid-November.
Frontier offers low-cost flights from Newark Airport (EWR) to 15 U.S. cities and 2 international cities. There will be fifteen non-stop flights available which includes Punta Cana and Cancun. To celebrate, Frontier is offering flights as low as $15 and will include their “Kids Fly Free” offering.
In addition to Mexico and the Dominican, Frontier will also offer non-stop flights to destinations including Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Raleigh, and Phoenix.
“We’re excited to make flying more affordable for the Garden State with 15 new routes from Newark,” Barry Biffle, president and CEO of Frontier Airlines said. “With fares as low as $15, we hope we inspire more people to fly and are delighted to meet that demand with our ‘Low Fares Done Right’ promise.”
The news comes on the heels of Southwest Airlines departure from Newark Airport. Southwest has decided to consolidate it’s New York area flights to LaGuardia as soon as November 3rd, 2019.
